Discover DCS at our New York Experience Center

Our New York Experience center, located in Manhattan’s Architects and Designers Building, provides a full range of both DCS and Fisher & Paykel products in the one location. Architects, designers and homeowners are invited to interact with the appliances in a unique and memorable way through both physical and digital elements. This is not a traditional retail space. The environment has been invented as a social area where you can explore the full range of professional indoor and outdoor kitchen appliances and plan your future in and outdoor kitchens. The space incorporates New Zealand-designed kitchens that showcase new ways of integrating appliances as well as interactive design.

Does a guest need to make an appointment?

No, walk-in visitors are welcome during operating hours. There is an opportunity to book an appointment for an appliance consultation or a product demonstration however – through the website or an Experience Center staff member.

What can I expect when I visit the Experience Center?

You are welcome to explore the showroom on your own or with the assistance of a product specialist. We have a variety of tools you can use to learn more about the products including touch-screen monitors and iPads loaded with product information.

Do you have live equipment?

We have a live kitchen and will host product demonstrations and classes in the showroom, led by an executive chef. The equipment in the live kitchen includes: Induction cooktops, Convection wall ovens, Refrigerators and DishDrawer’s. Unfortunately, we cannot demonstrate our gas appliances as the utility is not allowed in the A&D Building. (This rule applies to all showrooms.)

Do you sell out of the showroom?

We do not sell appliances out of the showroom. If you are interested in purchasing, we can provide you a list of local retailers if you need a referral.

Besides the appliances, what other features does the showroom offer?

The Experience Center has a wide array of tools to help you design a kitchen including an interactive touch screen that displays life size appliances, model specifications, and more. We welcome you to work on your plans in our space.
